SecondTeaching Practice (Second Period)

Describe

In this second teaching practice, I introduced new vocabulary and a little about the use of CAN and CAN'T. The class was so much better than the last one, the teacher even complimented me on my good job and improvement. Students were more active than the last class and I was less nervous. Now the students started feeling more comfort while I was teaching and that encouraged them to start asking more and to start relating more, so the RAPPORT vas improved.

The activities developed helped a lot students to use the new vocabulary that I was presenting. Some of the activities were game so students were not feeling stressed with an overload of information, in fact they were very active and I realy noticed that they learned lots of new words.

Developing games always makes the class better, but there are boundaries. The class can't be always about games and playing. between games there were some other activities such as writing or speaking activities besides the intrinsic practice that was being developed while playing.

In the future, I will try to keep working they way I did it on this class, helping students to learn with games but not forgetting that they also have to get some serious work for getting a better learning

First Teaching Practice (Second Period)

Describe

First practice if the second period. Participative class with no problems, bur some students have a hard time understanding the directions. Maybe that can be related to the fact that there are schools that do not take english subject as a serious way of learning and don't do much for students to learn about it...

The flow of the class was good, students participated and had a good time, the objective of the class was reached easily since students put effort in the practices.

Students needed an easy way of receiving the directions because they did not understand much, their english level lacks of vocabulary and they have difficulty pronunciating many words.

In the future, I must look for an easier way of giving instrucions so stundents can understand easier and faster. Using simple and less words might work.
